What People are Saying About Us

Dear Dayton Classics,

My name is Myra Sanders, and I am writing to commend your staff for dedication, professionalism, and expertise in the highly demanding and competitive field of high school/college baseball.

The recruitment process is over-whelming and difficult to navigate on your own as a parent. Coach Beemer and Coach Blasik were integral and involved in the process which has afforded my son the opportunity to attend the University of Akron and begin the journey of becoming a player there.

Nick came to the Dayton Classics late in his high school career, and then enlisted in the National Guard. Despite these obstacles, Coach Beemer and Coach Blasik went above and beyond to help Nick. They saw the passion and potential in my son and worked diligently to make his name known to college coaches.

The Dayton Classics organization is dedicated to young men who share the love of the game and are willing to work to fulfill their potential.

I can, without reservation, recommend this fine organization to families who are seeking a league with integrity to instruct and prepare their sons for a future in baseball. Thank you to Coach Beemer, Coach Blasik, and the Dayton Classics organization for enabling my son to achieve a life-long dream. Your hard work and dedication are unparalleled and so very much appreciated!

Sincerely,

Myra L. Sanders

In our experience, the Dayton Classics are filled with top shelf, quality players. More importantly, the Classics players and teams are directed and lead by first class coaches that demand and make their players better ball players and even better young men. The instruction and training that Noah has received from a baseball skills perspective has been wonderful. More importantly, the recruiting help and direction has been nothing short of amazing. We have been extremely pleased with his development as a player and we truly believe that the Dayton Classics are a main reason Noah will be pitching for a NCAA Division 2 school in the fall!

Dayton Classics – The Organization You Can Trust

Placing your trust in a baseball organization to handle your son’s future is one of the most important decisions you will make.  Your son is a precious commodity – not just because of his talents on the filed - but because his baseball talents will help him set a path for a brighter future.  Fortunately for him, that future will include earning a college education and an opportunity that many others will never have - to enrich his college experience with the great game of baseball.  The game will enrich his college experience through being part of a team, making contacts/networking, and learning valuable life skills such as time management and working with people from a variety of backgrounds.  If you are looking for an organization that you can trust to handle your son’s aspirations to play college baseball, and the bright future that lies ahead of him, stop looking and join the Dayton Classics.

Our son’s situation was somewhat unique (as are many) and was not an easy placement. Gregg Beemer worked tirelessly to help manage our situation and get our son positioned in the best situation for him.  Gregg was there every step of the way and stayed in routine contact with our family with new ideas as well as referrals to college coaches – many of whom set up personal workouts and extended scholarship offers.  Gregg’s commitment to our son resulted in him being placed at his number one choice for college baseball.  And by the way, Gregg’s support doesn’t stop after your son commits.  There are many follow up matters that arise and you can count on Gregg to be there to answer questions and support your son throughout his baseball journey.

I can say without reservation that Gregg’s dedication and credibility among college coaches played a major role in the placement of our son.  Every placement is different in terms of scholastics, competition level, and money, but regardless of those factors, you can be sure that Gregg has your son’s best interest at heart.

Gregg’s extensive experience in training, coaching, and helping place baseball athletes spans over 25 years.  As a result, he has developed a trustworthy reputation with baseball insiders and college coaches that will give your son a major advantage in the recruiting process over other baseball organizations.  Our son played for other organizations that touted former college and major league players, but fell completely short when it came time to connect our son with college programs.  After coming to the Classics, it took all of 2 days for Gregg to have 4 college programs interested in our son. His contacts are evident when you consider 95% of Classics’ players play college baseball.

Stop playing for organizations that tell you what they can do for your son and start playing for one that shows you what they can do for your son.  The Classics are an organization of action, not words.  Gregg’s connections to college coaches provide a network that your son will become a part of when he becomes a Classic.  Your son deserves the best and I can say without reservation, the Classics are.

We would like to thank you and the Dayton Classics Organization for the tremendous experience our son, Cameron Johnson, had playing on the Dayton Classics 18U Team during the 2014 Summer Season. Cameron thoroughly enjoyed being part of this team.

Cameron previously played with other highly competitive baseball organizations. These organizations did a great job of attracting top baseball players in the area and were full of talent. However, they fell short in their commitment to players in the college baseball recruiting process.

The Dayton Classics clearly separated themselves from other organizations in the recruiting process. We greatly appreciate all the time you spent developing a recruiting plan for Cameron based upon his college interests, mentoring Cameron on what was expected from him, and contacting and following-up with college coaches. Thanks for staying committed to Cameron throughout this process.

We would also like to thank the entire 18U Dayton Classics Coaching Staff. Brian Blasik and his staff provided great leadership and were a class act.

Cameron is looking forward to continuing his education and baseball career at the University of Findlay. Thanks again for all your help and guidance in making this happen.

"The Classics are literally a Class act of a baseball program. One of the best decisions I ever made."

"I wanted to send you this email as a HUGE thank you for what you have done for Will.  The opportunity that he has been given at the University of Charleston would never have come his way if it wasn't for your tireless efforts and the efforts of the rest of the coaching staff.  The amount of time that you put in to make sure that Will, and the other boys, are given a chance to pursue their dreams while getting their education, is unbelievable!"

"I cannot begin to tell you how genuinely happy Will is that this has all happened and how grateful I am that you stuck with him through all the issues with his recruitment process.  It just shows how passionate you are about getting these boys into the right situation for them."

Hello,

My name is Vincent Hamilton. Due to our U.S. Air Force commitment, my family and I moved to Dayton in Fall 2013. Being new to the area and the college recruitment process, we searched websites for a team and coach that could help with our dilemma. Our 2014 team/coach yielded a few calls by us alone & no campus visits. After that team disbanded, we were fortunate to make contact with Coach Gregg Beemer. Through his instruction and leadership, we had three college visits and offers within the first 60 days. I am happy to report that visit number four allowed my son, Quincy Hamilton, to become a Wright State University Raider!! This could not have been accomplished without the hard work and dedication of Coach Beemer and his staff. The Dayton Classic are a class organization.
